1 thing I have noticed with anime in my case is jellyfin can not pickup the correct show the first time. I usually have to manually change and update it. This has me wondering if a basic file with items like imdb, tvdv, tmdb and MAL id in the file or file name can help. Would also be handy if we can deal with episodes as well but 1 thing at a time. This file would be installed in the folder the movie, show, anime is in.

From what I know, there's no such thing as adding a file listing all the metadata provider IDs for whatever series you're working with.

However, you can add the IDs directly to the folder name:

    Code:
    "Series Name (2018) [tmdbid-65567]"
