Is there a way to delete a TV show after you watched it using a Roku player?
And when selecting a show is there a way to see a full show description on the partial description above the show?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You cannot delete files from Roku. I haven't had a chance to setup my Roku client yet. I'll get back to you on the description question.

Thanks for letting me know. It seems that is something needed. Being able to delete from Roku.
I was a long time Plex user but I read there starting to track your usage. Turns out I like Jellyfin better...

IIRC correctly, the devs don't plan to add media deletion functionality to any of the TV apps. "Media deletion is an admin task and you shouldn't do admin tasks from a TV". Or something like that.

depends on the developers we're talking about i guess

a google search was more informative; https://www.google.com/search?q=jellyfin...a+deletion

    the conversation on reddit; https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/commen...client_app

points to an open issue report for roku; https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-roku/issues/1001
as well there is an open feature request for it; https://features.jellyfin.org/posts/1251...ting-files

and it looks like niels has added it for android tv; https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-and.../pull/2415

As for getting the rest of the description. Currently it displays what it displays in the set number of lines, there is no way to view what is after the "..." through the Roku app.

I can safely say I'm not programming a delete function into the Roku client. If someone else wants to, that's on them, but I won't be taking that level of responsibility into my hands - leave it on the server.

As for description, I agree if we cut off the end, you should be able to select it and get a popup with the full text in a scrollable popup. I'll add this as a new feature idea.

    Enhancement ticket opened: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-roku/issues/1673
    🤘 Enjoy

PR opened for Full Description popup: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-roku/pull/1674

If merged, it'll be part of the 2.1.0 release.
    🤘 Enjoy
