Film sound volume

Please excuse my ignorance, but Jellyfin isn't my strong point.
My son uses it to manage and provide access to his media library. I have access via jellyfin on my tablet
Lately, I find that when I play a film, the volume level is so low, I have to turn the volume on my TV way up. TV series aren't affected. Is there something I can to to resolve this?
