The folder structure on disc is:
    Code:
->That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
      -> Specials
        S00E01 - Veldora's Diary
        S00E04 - Rimuru's Glamorous Life as a Teacher, Part 1
        S00E08 - Veldora's Journal 2
S00E10 - Visions of Coleus - To Coleus
S00E11 - Visions of Coleus - Great Phantom Thief Satoru
S00E12 - Visions of Coleus - Purple and Roses
        S00E13 -Digression - Diablos Journal

The "TheTVDB Season Id" for the "Specials" folder is: 777470 (https://thetvdb.com/series/that-time-i-g...official/0)
All of the episodes match up with the exception of episodes 02, 03, 04, 09, and 13.
Playing with the episode numbers, this is what jellyfin is showing me:
    • E01 = Special - Tales: Veldora's Journal
    • E02 = Special - Advance Screening Stage Greeting (Should be: "The Tragedy of M?")
    • E03 = Special - Episode 7 Funimation Video Commentary (Should be: "Hey! Butts!")
    • E04 = Special - Episode 14 Funimation Video Commentary (Should be: "Extra: Rimuru's Glamorous Life as a Teacher, Part 1")
    • E05 = Special - Extra: Rimuru's Glamorous Life as a Teacher (2)
    • E06 = Special - Extra: Rimuru's Glamorous Life as a Teacher (3)
    • E07 = Special - Digression: Hinata Sakaguchi
    • E08 = Special - Tales: Veldora's Journal 2
    • E09 = Special - Sukuwareru Ramiris - 01 (Should be: "Scarlet Bond")
    • E10 = Special - Visions of Coleus - 01 - To Coleus
    • E11 = Special - Visions of Coleus - 02 - Great Phantom Thief Satoru
    • E12 = Special - Visions of Coleus - 03 - Purple and Roses
    • E13 = Special - Sukuwareru Ramiris - 02 (Should be: "Digression: Diablo's Journal")

Did I stumble across a bug, or do I have my filenames wrong?
Is there a way to use a different Meta Source for the "Specials"? When I edit the Meta Info, it only gives me "TheTVDB Season Id:" option under "External IDs: ".

You shouldn't need to use the specific ID for the specials. Use the ID for the show and name the folder Specials, like you already have, and Jellyfin should find the specials season in TVDB.

Thanks, but I didn't specify any ID. Jellyfin correctly picked up all the ID's on its own based on the Series Title, including the ID for the "Specials" folder.
But the meta data Jellyfin is showing, does not seem to match what I believe is the source.
For example: According to the TV DB, the title for S00E02 (https://thetvdb.com/series/that-time-i-g...es/7205861) should be "The Tragedy of M?", but Jellyfin is showing a title of "Advance Screening Stage Greeting".

Maybe Jellyfin is not pulling the meta data from TV DB like I thought?

What are your library settings for each metadata section? Screenshots?

Thanks, after checking the Meta Settings for the library, I noticed that TheTVDB was not checked/selected for "Shows" or "Episodes". TheTVDB actually isn't even an option for me under "Seasons". It appears to have been using AniDB (based on the titles), which was the first selected option. Unfortunately, AniDB, TheTVDB, and TheMovieDB all have different episode numbers for the specials, but as long as I know which source it is using, I can rename the episodes and it works fine.
