I’m looking for advice on how to best organise a large Pokémon collection in Jellyfin. My collection includes:
• A few hundred episodes of Pokémon series .
• All the Pokémon movies .
I’m considering three main options:
1. Create Separate Libraries
• One library for Pokémon Shows .
• Another library for Pokémon Movies
2. Add Pokémon Content to Existing Libraries
• Add the Pokémon movies to my main Movies library.
• Add the Pokémon series to my existing Kids library.
3. Combine Everything in a Mixed Content Library • Add the entire Pokémon folder (episodes + movies) as a Mixed Movies and Shows library.
For those of you with large, single-franchise collections like Pokémon, how do you organise them in Jellyfin?
• Do you prefer creating separate libraries ?
• Or do you include them in existing libraries and use Collections to group them?
• Have you tried a Mixed Content library, and how did it work out?
What’s been the best approach for you, and why?
I’d love to hear your thoughts or see examples of how you’ve set up similar media collections. Thanks in advance for your help! 😊
