    Hi,

After adding a new show to my library, I noticed that Jellyfin downloaded completely incorrect episode titles, thumbnails, and descriptions.
At first, I thought it was a Jellyfin issue since my directory structure follows the recommended format.
However, I soon discovered that the problem comes from TMDB — their episode information for this show is completely messed up.
So my question is: is there a way to disable TMDB for this particular show?

    Thanks,
    Michał

I have partially fixed it by fixing order on TMDB.
I have refreshed (full one with thumbnails etc removal) metadata and Jellyfin has partially fetched proper information: titles of episodes are now correct, but thumbnails and descriptions are not.
Is there a way to fix this?

You can keep the file from being changed by clicking the three dots and scrolling to the bottom and you can lock it to prevent changes. However, that can be overwritten if you move the folder to a different directory or click the "replace all metadata" option.

If the episodes are named properly for TMDB, click the three dots and click "replace all metadata" will fix any bad images. If you are not pulling from TMDB, then where will you get your images/metadata from? You could try a different plug-in like TVDB and hit "identify" and click on the one that is pulled for TVDB if they have closer naming nomenclature to what you have.
I complain about Jellyfin a lot and have no idea what I'm doing.
