VTT Subtitle Support

Hi,
I'm wondering if vtt-format external subtitles supported by Jellyfin across all platforms.

If so, great.

If not, what subtitle formats are? .srt in particular does not work for me, so I need something besides that that I can use.

Supported subtitles depend on the client and the used backend for playback. Usually SRT should work fine on most though - which clients did you encounter problems with SRT?
