    Hello,

I am looking to shift to Jellyfin and I am running into some roadblocks.

Can anyone explain to me how I can force Jellyfin to replace the English metadata with relevant metadata for each version I have of a show?

For example I have Adventure Time separated into multiple languages, all organised into sub-folders of seasons:

    /TV/Adventure Time (US English)
    /TV/Adventure Time (French)
    /TV/Adventure Time (Mandarin)

In the metadata option for each of these that appear in my library I set the relevant language, refresh metadata, but still the English sticks.

Thanks and sorry if this is obvious, but I have searched, without success.

Do you have each language in a separate library or in the same library?  I believe you need to have separate libraries each with separate language/region preferences.

Thanks, I had considered that, but it is more than annoying for me to have multiple libraries organised by language.

This option below, when selecting Edit Metadata for a series, gives me hope - though I have not had success with it. Is it not possible to have this option direct the metadata to follow the selected option?

I've never tried. But its worth a shot. You may need to rescan and "replace all metadata" for the show/movie once you make that change.
