how to play movies/shows in chronological order

I'm wanting to have a streaming box set-up to play certain movies and shows in chronological order. does anybody know a plug-in or ability to do this?  it's mostly going to be shows from the 90s and early 2000s and wanting them to play in chronological order from there release date instead of just one show I was wanting a collection of different shows all playing based on when it came out on TV

There is no plugin to do this. The easiest way to do what you're describing is with a playlist.
