    Hi everyone,
I previously installed the Trickplay (Jellyscrub) plugin to generate preview thumbnails in Jellyfin. However, after uninstalling the plugin, Jellyfin still continues to generate preview thumbnails and even creates corresponding folders for them.
In the Scheduled Tasks section, I still see a task related to video preview thumbnails running periodically, even though the plugin is no longer installed.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
    • Uninstalled the Trickplay plugin via the dashboard
    • Deleted the folders containing generated thumbnails
    • Checked and removed any related scheduled tasks I could find
    • Restarted Jellyfin after each change
Despite all this, preview images keep coming back. Is there another way to fully disable Trickplay functionality? Could Jellyfin still be running some background job that was created by the plugin?
Thanks in advance for any help!

The Jellyscrub plugin does not generate thumbnails, it generates trickplay images.

If you want to disable the integrated trickplay functionality you can do so by editing each libraries settings.
