Jellyfin for Kodi - Duplicated Episodes

Hi All,

I've switched over recently to JF and plan on using Kodi as my frontend. My TVshow Library is split into 4K and HD but merged into a single title within JF and episodes merged using the merger plugin.

Kodi seems to ignore all the merging rules and creates duplicate show enteries and episodes. One show entity is populated with zero episodes and the duplicated entity with all episodes including the duplicate.
Jellycon seems to follow the JF structure just fine but I do like how the official JF plugin just ties into the Kodi movie and show structure, so it woul be my preference to stick with this.

Hey! I had a similar issue when I started using Kodi with Jellyfin. What worked for me was adjusting some settings in the Kodi library. Have you tried checking the 'Merge files into a single entry' option under 'Settings > Library > Videos'? It helped clean up the duplicates for me.

Thanks for the reply  ersailboat, where are you seeing this I don't have this option under  Settings > Library > Videos, got the expert tab open so should be able to see all the configs.
