    Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I've been using Jellyfin for three weeks. I'm very happy with this application and I'd like to thank everyone involved in its development. I'm French and I'm using a translator to write this, so please excuse me if the translation isn't perfect.

I installed Jellyfin on my Synology DS1821+ NAS. I used Emby before, but I'm glad I switched to Jellyfin.

However, I'm having trouble using HTTPS. I've generated the PKCS#12 certificate several times, but it never works, even though my domain is working fine. It's true that I'm using OpenSSL, because the certificate provided by the company that issued my domain uses PEM files, and apparently PKCS#12 isn't very common.
I was wondering if anyone has managed to get Jellyfin working with HTTPS? And even if it were possible with a little help?

    Thank you in advance.
I wish Jellyfin a long life and thanks again to the developers!

    Sincerely,
    Gastonzz

A lot of us do, most use reverse proxy software like Caddy, Nginx, Haproxy, etc...  The Jellyfin team is fixing to remove HTTPS code from the server software and has been deprecated for up coming releases.
Jellyfin 10.11.4 on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, Server: OptiPlex 7050 i7-6700 32GB ram (headless)
    Arc A310, Storage: TrueNAS Mini R Raidz2 45 TiB, Netgate 4200 PFsense/HAproxy
