    Hey,

looking for a sff mini/micro computer to run jellyfin. 1-2 streams max. I see that quisync is okish from the 7th generation. Looking at the prices micro pc's with i5-8500t are almost 2x cheaper than those with i5-9500t (~100$ vs ~200$). Can I go with i5-8500t ? Or it will be such a difference with i5-9500t ?

    Thanks!

I think an n100 would be a better choice, as they have a much better qsv engine. Should be similar cheap but more power efficient.

Hm those seem to be more in a 200$ ballpark so might be an alternative to 9500t, but I really would like to spend 100$ or so Smiling-face

You won't see much of a difference between 8th and 9th gen. The iGPU and Quick Sync are the same and the CPU performance is only marginally better with 9th gen.
