    Hi,
I am looking to see if there is an android client for jellyfin that allows you to download content in a way that makes the application useable offline(no login requiered if not connected, can play downloaded media). My problem with the native client is that it downloads the content to my "normal" filesystem and I can't acces these downloads from within jellyfin. If I want that I could just use a FTP client.
I couldn't find anything about this topic with a rudementary forum search so all help is appreciated.

The Jellyfin Android phone app does not currently support any offline viewing. It will always download the original file due to that reason.

There are currently only two Jellyfin apps that have an offline mode, but they're both music focused only. Finamp is the name of one of them. I'm forgetting the name of the other one.

Symfonium is the other you were thinking of.

Also, Findroid is another 3rd party app that is video only and also has an offline mode.
