In App Download Functionalioty

Question for the random Dev's and Project leads for the Android App. 

I've been tracking the github effort to add Download functionality to the app. This change looks like it will include the Video meta data while being able to play videos offline. Basically, what most streaming apps do today.

Curious as to when you think it will be fully merged into the app for stable release and use? 

It looks like it got merged but did not make the recent 2.6.3 release, and most the effort is focused on the 10.11 update (which makes sense).

The download functionality will be available in the 2.7 release, as can be seen by the milestone set on the pull request. It is already merged. The 2.6.3 version was a simple patch release for the current stable release branch to bring compatibility for Jellyfin 10.11 and some bug fixies.

Wowza, big news! Will you be throwing out a blog post or highlighting in a release announcement? Trying to figure out the best way to highlight these sorts of huge achievements in UX.
