The Artists tab shows them like this (persists without server css). Ideally it wouldn't show collaborations as their own individual "artist" but there should be a separator ( ; ) at least

In MusicBee the separator appears in the metadata

    and in windows file explorer

The default separators for Jellyfin are "/", "|", ";", "\\".  I tried to zoom into your pics and it looks like a colon[:] not a semicolon [;]. You can also add custom separators in your music library settings.

Yeah those screenshots are bad, it's a semicolon though and the custom tag delimiters are set up the same as yours (default)

I also have another issue I'll try to explain.
I have 2 music libraries (wife's, mine) pointing to separate directories (example G:\user1\Music and G:\user2\Music).
We both have separate copies of the same album (example G:\user1\Music\aesop rock\labor days, and G:\user2\music\aesop rock\labor days)
If I have access to her music library, and mine, when I open my music library and go to aesop rock I'll see two copies of labor days, but I expected to just see my copy from my library.

    This is a known issue.

    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/12976
    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/12764

    Specifically Gnattu's comment here.

My understanding is that the library EFCore refactor may help resolve this issue. Though, additional changes are likely still required in addition to the refactor to resolve this.

I don't think the above-linked issues are the same here. This issue sounds more like: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/11871. I tried to recreate the issue and if I used "//" instead of ";" then the issue was resolved for me.
