Hi all, I was just wondering, I have a GTX 550 TI which unfortunately is all I have and it doesn't support NVENC for hardware acceleration, so is there any way I could use the "normal" GPU cores for stuff like transcoding in Jellyfin?

    Thanks

There is. Its called VAAPI. However, the GTX 550Ti is simply not performant enough to meaningfully use VAAPI for accelerating transcodes.

Thanks, at least it's better than nothing.
