I have a couple of questions about the Overview metadata field. Where does it save the entries in this field? The library.db or somewhere else? If it is saved in the database, which I am assuming it is, is there a character limit on this field and what is it?  I have a custom library where I have videos, mp3's, pdf's and a few other item types in each sub-folder. No matter what library type I choose when I create it it will not display all of the items I have. So I chose a type that shows the videos as I like that layout the best. What I am doing for the other file types that are not showing is going into the metadata and adding an html table with links to the pdf, mp3, etc. That is working fine. My question about using this method is if there is a character limit in this field. I have a few sub-folders in the library where the html code I put in will be fairly long. Any help would be appreciated.

The Overview metadata field is typically stored in the library.db database. The character limit varies by system, but most media management apps support up to 64,000 characters or more for text fields. It's best to test with a large input to confirm the exact limit for your setup.
