I upgraded to 10.11 recently, and after a library scan I noticed a weird issue.
Movies that were added years ago were now showing up in recently added, and a few trailers were now showing up as movies. And for these movies the metadata was all messed up.
After investigating I found that I had miss-named the directory containing the trailers for a handful of movies. It was "Movie Name (Year)/trailer/trailer.mkv" instead of "Movie Name (Year)/trailers/trailer.mkv".
I used find to locate all of these typos and fix them. It messed up some metadata for the movies they were in but it wasn't too much of a pain to fix.
I don't know why exactly this worked just fine before or why the new update broke this (I assume it's something with the db migration) but I figured I would post this in case it will affect anyone else.
