SOLVED: HEVC transcoding/direct play issues

I'm having issues playing certain files on my TV through the jellyfin app, the below is LOTR and this doesn't play at all.
I also have a copy of another film which only shows in black and white.
The files work on VLC player on the PC fine but not on tv or through iphone app.

I currently have no hardware encoding enabled (i dont have a dedicated GPU although i have an A380 coming soon!) and when i did enable it it didn't make any difference.
I did enable "Allow encoding in HEVC format" which changed the log from direct stream to transcode but it still has the same error message.

Jellyfin is running on truenas scale:TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.1.3
intel xeon Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz
64gb ram

At least with regards to transcoding, the Xeon isn't fast enough to transcode the movie, as you can see from the logs its only getting approx 0.4x speed. The Arc A380 will fix this issue.

Ahhh okay - well hopefully the GPU addition fixes this!
