Jellyfin 10.11 is too slow and freezes, is this just a issue with jiellyfin 10.11 ?

I've re-installed from scratch, redoing everything twice thinking it maybe a plugin  but still as bad, what should I do downgrade to 10.10 ?

    Any ideas ?

I’ve been seeing a lot of people report the same thing with 10.11, so you’re definitely not the only one. For some setups it runs fine, but for others it’s been noticeably slower, especially with the UI freezing or taking forever to load libraries.

What is freezing? Play back, scrolling through your media, Scanning your library for new media or all of jellyfin?

If Scanning your library try unchecking 'the movie db' and the 'TVDB' if installed and reset and rescan. Dashboard - library - library - 3 dots - manage library and uncheck all the movie db from each Library you have.

Similar issues here. Did my first install of Jellyfin, so I might got something wrong. I used the docker imager on an Ubuntu Server.

    What works
    - Web-UI is reachable and no error during navigation
    - Adding a music and a movie libary
    - Media detection and library scan
    - Connection from several clients (iPhone, AppleTV, Chrome browser, Linux Desktop App
    - Playback of music (all clients)
    - Playback of movies (iPhone)

    What fails
    - Navigation is often slow, showing the busy activity indicator for more than 30s, but continuing without error after the wait time
    - Playback of an album has the same delay between tracks, track runs smoothly without interruptions
    - Playback of movie on AppleTV did not start, ended in black screen without error.
    - Playback of a track once ended in no sound but playback indicated as running (iOS). Restart of the app fixed it.

So far I haven't seen any errors in the logs.

Sorry if I hijacked the thread, but the most urgent problem seems to relate with slow responsiveness.

UPDATE: This morning the delay mysteriously disappeared. Regarding the delay size (about 30s) and the fact that I didn't change anything in my application or infrastructure, this looks like a connection timeout. Since it's gone now, I would further guess that this is a remote server that became reachable.

Is there any external dependency of Jellyfin that I should be aware of?

Its likely that that jellyfin was running a scan in the background like Trickplay since this is a new setup it can take a very long time to do this scan apically if you have a large library.
