Jellyfin Android App Unable to reach server

I've just downloaded the most recent jellyfin server and app on my android device. The web version works on my computer, but the jellyfin android app says "Unable to reach server" 127.0.0.1:8096 when I attempt to connect. I have my firewalls completely disabled.

127.0.0.1 will only work on the machine that is running Jellyfin. That is the local loopback. You need to find the actual IP of the server and use that on the Android phone.
