    Hello everyone,
I tried to find some guidelines on making posts, but couldn't find it as quickly, might also be my frustrated brain which is focused on the current problem. If I need to change anything in the posts, please tell me so.

So as for the problem, I have my server setup and it works as well through the browser, also over VPN. I have a problem with the app though, the first time the app was installed it worked, but if I close the app and open it again, it gives me an error when I re-open the app. What happens is as follows:
the host bar suddenly gains a http:// in front of the IP and port and it reads the error "Connection cannot be established. Please check the hostname and your network connection." From this point onward the app also keeps showing this error, even if I change the host address to IP:port again, it gives the error again. The only way to change this error is to go into the settings of my phone and delete the data of the app there. But then it all happens again once I close the app one time.

I have tried looking into the log from jellyfin web gui, but I am not getting much wiser from that unfortunately.

    Thank you in advance,
    Sapphire

Are you using the Play store version or F-Droid version?

Also, does this github issue sound like yours?

The issue seems to indicate the issue is related to Jellyfin server and not Android. If that is your issue, then server 10.9.3, when that is released, may resolve your issue.

10.9.3 was released last night. Upgrade and test it out if it fixes your issue?
