    1) Check if the video is using Dolby Vision 7. That DV profile is not supported by anything other than bluray players.
    2) A lot of those kinds of plugins don't work on Android TV. That also includes plugins like intro skipper and jellyscrub.

It is, thats why its that color.  But I am able to get it to transcode on the browser and phone, but the android TV won't transcode.  Anyway I can force it to?  I mean technically the Shield can handle it, but the TV cannot.  I think Its a dead end because of that, and not necessarily a Jellyfin thing, although Jelly could probably fix it, if it were a priority lol.

Ah, yea, ok, I was thinking that, I am running into a lot of plugins that are giving me that issue....  Is there a better/more recommended client sided app/OS that I could use that could take advantage of Jellyfins plugin features?

    1)  Lower the bit rate on the client side until it triggers a transcode.  Jank work around, but its something.

    2)  For Android TV I'm not aware of any other way to access Jellyfin except for the official client, with the limitations already stated.  I don't recall seeing a way to use a browser in my CCwGTV.  If the shield has the ability use a browser maybe you can try the web client?

Yea. I'll maybe get around to throwing a ubuntu pc up on the theater, and see what happens with Jellyfin Linux app.  That seems to retain all the features.  Just not sure how well it will work with a Home Theater.  If its any good, I might see if i can flash linux onto the shield?  who knows.  That or maybe install the Android phone app onto the android TV, although doing that tends to be buggy.
    Thanks for the help.
