    Jellyfin flips uploaded images horizontally

When uploading a backdrop image for a movie, Jellyfin flips the image horizontally.

I wanted to horizontally flip (mirror) a backdrop image, so I downloaded it from OMDB, flipped it, and tried to upload it to Jellyfin. However, Jellyfin automatically flips it back. I've never had this before and have no idea where in the process it goes wrong. Here's a slideshow with the details:

standard "add image" screen, I click on + to add new image

click browse to add image from PC

select image, it is previewed correctly so I click "upload"

    the image is flipped horizontally

    What??

I run Jellyfin on docker, version 10.8.10, Linux, ARM64 architecture. IMHO this has to be a bug, but I have no idea how to report it.

That is a weird one… I would definitely file an issue at https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues and provide a sample image if possible.

I now think it's an issue with the image file itself. First I flipped it using Shotwell. When I opened in GIMP or ImageMagick, it also still showed the original unflipped image just like Jellyfin.

Now I flipped the image using a different software, and now it does show up correctly in both Jellyfin, GIMP and ImageMagick. So it's not really a Jellyfin issue!

Github is a bit intimidating to me since I can't make any sense of any of the other issues that are posted there. But feel free to post this issue for me if you can replicate it lol
