Jellyfin hosted on a SFF box

Hi, first post here!

Been looking to move my media to something more user-friendly for a while now, and I got the idea to use Jellyfin.

From this I was thinking how to make it as "budget friendly", so I devised a plan to use a SFF box,
the ones that are a bit bigger than raspberries but WAY smaller than ITX cases.

But this created a few questions:
1. What CPU should I aim for considering I have 4k + some HDR content and not planning going less than 4k?
Specific CPU model names are welcomed.
2. The overall setup would be something like a 8/16TB enclosed drive hooked up to the SFF would there be any bottlenecks?
I'm assuming no since all enclosed HDD's come with bare minimum USB 3.0.
3. Would 1G connection suffice for AT MOST 3 viewers simultaneously locally or would I have to look into upgrading to 2.5G/10G speed?
No remote sharing planned since home network is 150Mbps up/down. Maybe 1 remote connection when we're travelling and there's no load at home.
4. Based on question 3. answer can anyone recommend a 2.5/10g SFF box?
Prefferably from german amazon or at the very least EU seller.

1. Minimum is probably 8th gen Intel processors with an iGPU. I would recommended 11th gen+ since the iGPUs are significantly more performant. I opted for the i3 12100 since they're not the current gen (lower prices), but not old enough that motherboards are hard to find at MSRP, and was the first generation that moved past 14nm (lower power usage and less heat). The Intel N100 is also a great low power option.

2. Your network connection would become a bottle neck before the hard drive.

3. 1 Gbps is more than enough for like a dozen users+.

4. If the sole purpose of this box is to run Jellyfin, 2.5G+ networking is not necessary for your intended user count. If you plan on using this box for other stuff, maybe.
