    I keep entering the server address and I still keep getting that message.

    You need to use the ip of the computer you have running jellyfin (for example http://192.168.1.112:8096).  The address you need should be somewhere in System(settings) -> Network/Internet -> ipv4 address.  Note that this will only work on your local network, if you want to share outside there are many examples on the JF docs.
