Total Newby on using Jellyfin but I have some questions regarding hardware transcoding and the necessity for it.  This is my first NAS build and so I have worked through many of the issues and have TrueNas Scale and Jellyfin via a container (Scale Community APP) up and running.  That alone was interesting and a good learning opportunity for me since I am primarily a Window admin.
The reason for my question is that is appears that none of my home movies using MP4 or AVI seem to work correctly.  I am using the Web Interface to access the library and click on the movie as shown.  It attempts to open but Jelly fin appears to just lock up.  I have to go back and reopen Jellyfin and it brings me back to the login screen.
My hardware is an ASRock B650 I, AMD Ryzen 5 7600, 32 Gb RAM and no additional GPU, just using the internal GPU provided for on the processor.   The AMD Ryzen is supposed to support video transcoding when using Jellyfin.  When I attempt to set up transcoding and I have tried numerous configurations it always errors out after selecting the save or apply button.

Does anyone know if my hardware configuration is supported and what the configuration for transcoding should look like?  Since my movies won’t play maybe it has nothing to do with Transcoding but if you all tell me what logs to pull, I’d be glad to add them here.ellyfin Admin Dashboard.

I have followed the recommendation for setting up transcoding on an AMY Ryzen 7000 found on the Web but no luck saving the configuation.

I finally got this solved turned out to be incorrect permission on one of the 3 directories that I used to store run the Jellyfin app. Corrected the share/file permissions and re-installed jellyfin. Seems to work as expected now.

Always one of three things: networking, permissions, or ID-10-T errors.
