    Hey there!

I've applied styling to my Jellyfin server through the dashboard and the changes are visible in the web, but no for my Linux client which uses the new Jellyfin Media Player client?

    Here's a example using https://github.com/CTalvio/Ultrachromic

Really wish we could return to the high quality conversations in Reddit.. This forum isn't as active as people aren't seeing posts in their newsfeed..

**Anyhow, this has to be enabled manually: Jellyfin > Client Settings > ForceExternalWebclient**

I'm surprised this isn't the sane default setting to avoid all the unnecessary confusion and have consistency between clients when users (inevitably) apply customization to their server like CSS, menu links and so on

For me, I had to make sure to settings > display > uncheck "Disable server-provided custom CSS code"

I also had issues with background images not showing, and that can be enabled in display settings, too. For that, there's a "Backdrops" option that needs to be checked.
