    Jellyfin Media Player (Windows) HDR

    Any way to get HDR on it?

    Whenever i am playing HDR on youtube VLC its bright vibrant ETC but when playing on media player its not so dull its bad it just isint as good on windows. it works on my HDR tv via the APP and HDR on droidfin why no Hdr on Jellyfin Mediaplayer my id like to use my nice Oled HDR display-Thanks! any way to accomplish this?

    The way Jellyfin Media Player renders the final image does not support HDR at this time. But it is on the roadmap (no specific dates).

    You can experiment with Jellyfin MPV Shim, which allows you to use newer MPV versions that do support HDR.

    In the following Jellyfin 10.9 release you should be able to watch HDR content right in your browser, and it would be our recommended way of watching HDR contents on Windows for the time being, as an HDR client requires more work.
