I've just created a Docker container for Jellyfin on my Synology NAS using the latest official image, and I'm trying to set it up. The container is running and when I point my web browser to SERVER_IP:8096, I see the Jellyfin login page. The trouble is, I haven't created a login yet and I don't know if there is a default login I need to use and then change. I'd like to use the set-up wizard, but I don't know how to start that without being able to log in.

    Thanks in advance!

You very probably have data from a previous setup of Jellyfin. Empty the folder you pointed at your config in your docker container.

Did you have a server at the same address prior?  If so, try clearing your browser cache.

Well, that was embarrassing. Thank you all for your help. I had indeed previously set up an account and then forgotten about it.

It happens to the best of us. I once got stuck on the cookies issue for hours....
    Glad your issue is solved!
