    Jellyfin on Synology Problems

    Hello,

    I am very new to using docker and containers. I switched to Jellyfin after Synology stopped support for video station. I followed the instructions for setup on the Jellyfin and Synology website.

    I was able to visit Jellyfin through the IP but everything is very slow (5+ minutes to get through the start up and admin creation). I have not been able to get past "Set up your media libraries" as it just loads endlessly. The status in container manager is orange and it says "warning". Often, things won't load there and the message "Unable to perform this operation, possibly because the network
    connection is unstable or the system is busy. Please try again later." will come up.

    I've heard that it can be like this when Jellyfin is first organizing your files but it's been up for 20 hours and I only have 20-30 gb of movies. I've attached logs and screenshots. I really appreciate your help with this problem!

    Additionally, If there is some guide on what all these logs means it would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you, I'll try that. It does seem more complicated though then what is on the jellyfin and synology site? Is there any simpler solution? When I added Jellyfin I found it's image and then created a container with the image.
