    Hi there!
Recently I've noticed a couple of my shows are not playing the correct episode. For example, I click on season 1 episode 1 of Doctor Who, and it plays a random episode midway through the "specials" season. Or, I play the Mandalorian episode 6 and it'll play episode 4 instead. The episodes in my file system are named correctly, I can click on S01E01 "Rose" of Doctor Who and get the first episode of season 1. If I click on edit metadata, I can see that the episode file name is S01E01. But I click on it and it starts playing S00E156 "Resolution".
I've tried restarting the server and rescanning the library and replacing all metadata, none of which have worked (one time the rescan changed WHICH episode it played but it still wasn't the right one)
I'm running the server on docker ubuntu 24.04 and it has worked flawlessly for months but not anymore.

Edit: Doctor Who is playing exactly 5 episodes behind the one i want (S04E07 plays S04E02, etc) while Star Wars Rebels is aways playing the previous episode (S02E04 plays S02E03)

Have you tried removing the folder from the library, scan the library to remove it, adding the folder back in, scanning to re-add?

Doing this made Doctor Who play the previous episode instead of 5 episodes prior, so I suppose it's a little better but I am still having the issue!

Can you share your jellyfin log via pastebin?

What metadata source(s) are you using for your shows library?

Fixed it! It was a 4 minute special that was split between two files and messing things up. I just deleted the special lol. That and TVmaze as a metadata source was organizing things weirdly.

    Thanks for your help! Smiling-face

AFAICT, TVDB is the only one that has the organization for Doctor Who (2005) that you were using.
