Android TV version not supported

I am trying to minimise the work of me taking media in a pendrive to my parents, so I decided to use jellyfin and host from my windows machine (I am new to this), the server works with our phones but not on our Android box (it's not some fake product, been using it from 2 years) the server is visible for connection but can't connect further because of version mismatch 

Any workaround? Or will it not work

You need to be using the latest releases for both the Jellyfin server and the clients.
Some clients will tell you that a future update will drop support for older server versions.

To fix your issue, I would check and update your server and the Jellyfin app on the Android box.
