    Hi,
    How are you All?
I have q question, is it possible Jellyfin running in docker on Synology 1 and movies on Synology 2?
I tried but i cant rach the drive "Video" on Synology 2.
Synology 2 is an older device and it is not posible to run docker on this machine.

Is there a way to do this? Mybe by NFS, SMB, or a Synology drive mapping way?

    THX!

You would need to mount the location on S2 to S1 and then create a volume that points to that mount in the docker container.

It should be possible, I have a slightly different setup whereby Jellyfin is running on a separate mini pc (in Docker) and then indeed serves the media files that are still on the Synology NAS. I have the relevant shared folder (of the NAS) mounted automatically on the mini pc using fstab and with that it works very well. Potentially the network connection between the mini pc and the NAS could be a bottleneck, but so far it hasn't been and the improved performance of the mini pc with its N150 cpu and SSD over the hardware of the NAS has made Jellyfin so much smoother it is almost difficult to compare to the old situation.
