Which is a better host qnap Nas or RPi 5?

Greetings, 

I have used kodi in the past, but wanna try Jellyfin out.

My current options for hosts are a Qnap TS-419P+ or a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB.

I have read that the RPi might have issues with some encoding, however I haven't had any issues watching my media on a Raspberry Pi 4 in the past. (haven't gotten around to unboxing the RPi 5 yet).

The NAS is rather old, but I'm no export when it comes to this stuff, so what would you all suggest?

I don't wanna buy new hardware yet, so please don't suggest that
(unless it's completely impossible with the options I have)
