I'm new here and I don't know Jellyfin at all, so I have some basic doubts I'm afraid. I'm a Kodi user since xbmc times, I've always used it on a HTPC with local library. Now I am considering the option of using a shared library to be able to play it from other devices with KODI both in my local network and from outside and I understand that with Jellyfin I could do this, am I right?

I currently use an HTPC with LibreELEC where I have all my collection stored, could I install the Jellyfin server on that same machine coexisting with LibreELEC and KODI?

    Thanks in advance!

You could. As long as your other clients are also playing content with Kodi, it shouldn't be a problem. Specifically, if any clients need transcoding your local playback would compete for resources with the transcode.

I found the Jellyfin Server on the LibreELEC add-on repository, instaled and already working!
    Thank you!

    Thank you!

Are you still using LibreELEC+Jellyfin? Considering it mounts all your drives automatically,  I can't imagine an easier way to get started without Windows.
