    Jellyfin Version: 10.9.6
    Jellyfin Install Method: Linux Ubuntu

Expected: Startup complete, running / active
Actual: Upon startup, jellyfin tries to start, but then shuts down and becomes inactive / dead

    Logs attached

I did try the solution suggested in this thread with a similar issue "deleting the config and cache directories" and then restarting. This did not fix the issue

If there is anything else I can provide, please let me know

You say that you are using docker, but all the paths in the thumbnail are for a package install (apt).

Apologies, removed. Have docker, thought I might have been using it - that is not the case based on your reply.

Can you delete /etc/jellyfin/migrations.xml and try restarting the service?

Just tried - it did recreate the file, but it didn't work for the service as it got stuck at the same spot.

The file it created did create it in jellyfin:jellyfin rather than jellyfin:root as the other files are. The file created has 1030 (assuming that's mbs?) so it's not empty.

Stop Jellyfin then rename all the files in /etc/jellyfin (just add .orig to the file name). Then start jellyfin. If it still fails, share a fresh jellyfin log via pastebin.

Changing the file names to .orig worked. Here is the pastebin log from jellyfin - https://pastebin.com/MQ0ed3QU .
Is there anything else I need to do (e.g., delete the now defunct .orig files) to make sure everything is working as intended now?

Thank you so much for your help btw! I really appreciate it!

If everything is working now, you can get rid of them. But the log looks good now.
