BLUF: Is it possible to install Jellyfin on a Synology DS1517?

I have researched multiple threads here and Youtube videos trying to figure out how to install Jellyfin on my Synology DS1517.  I can't even get past the first step of finding the package!

    Here's the situation:
1.) I have updated to the latest OS (7.2.2-72806 Update 3).
2.) I have added the SynoCommunity to my package manager. ( https://packages.synocommunity.com/ )
3.) When I search for packages, there are no results for "Jellyfin", "Docker" or "Container." (And manually going through all available packages confirms the results.)

I'm left to wonder if my DS1517 is compatible with Jellyfin?

    Thoughts??? Thanks in advance.

The DS1517 won't run docker or container manager (unless you actually have a DS1517+, which can). I've just looked on my NAS and Jellyfin is definitely there in the Community section:

Jellyfin1 - 10.10.3 (Docker) Synology NAS (transcoding off)
    Jellyfin2 - 10.10.3 Minix ZX100-0db MiniPC, Intel N100 (transcoding on)
    Storage - x3 Synology NAS (22TB)
    Reverse Proxy - Caddy v2 running on a Pi3b+

You can still use it to host your files and then run Jellyfin on a cheap little mini PC like an N100 though! That's what I do (I have a newer synology that CAN technically run JF, but it's slowwwwwww on there due to no SSD).
    Specifics:
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (docker) on Debian 12.6 // N100 16GB
    Storage: Synology DS220+ CIFS mounts
Clients: Jellyfin4Kodi (Addon Mode), Android, Android TV, Roku, Symfonium

Good point. I'm currently running Plex and the NAS hosts all my media. I'll look into a dedicated server for JF. Sounds like you've had good luck with an N100. I'll try that as my third option after my Shield and Synology.
