Anyone else have issues with JellyFin4Kodi forgetting the password, even after resettting the local database and setting to 'Addon' mode and doing a full resync? All my clients seem to forget the password every 24 hours or so I think. Server is 10.10.0.

    Cheers.

Do you have the session cleaner plugin installed?

Can you share your jellyfin logs via pastebin?

Jellyfin for Kodi doesn't store your password at all. It stores an access token. If that token is no longer active, it means you (or some automated process you've set up) has removed that token from the server and the session will no longer work.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I do have session cleaner installed, haven't touched it in since intall a long time ago and has worked seamlessly until I upgraded to 10.10.0.

Is this now the issue? I'll disable if so. It's set to clean sessions older than 7 days and I know every client in the household barely lasts 24 hours.

Which logs would you like, server or client side?

Makes sense, however other than upgrading from 10.9.0 to 10.10.0 I haven't touched the server. What could be causing this?

Is this something to do with it?

I'm not super familiar with how session cleaner works or how the logs look when it is expiring old tokens, but I'm assuming those logs are related.

For anyone else having the issue of clients constantly needing to sign in, I generated new device ID on each client via the Jellyfin4Kodi addon. Session Cleaner wasn’t to blame.
