I have a few shows that I have both Dubbed and Subtitled versions of (I ripped them separately).  The problem is, even if I have them in separate directories, Jellyfin will put them all under a single show, with duplicated episodes (the dubs and subs mixed together).

How do I make Jellyfin group them as Dubs-only and Subs-only?

Did you configure the libraries to merge series across folders?

Dashboard > Libraries > Select library > Automatically merge series that are spread across multiple folders

If I switch that off will that mean I have to dump ALL episodes of a series into a single directory? Kind of a problem with something like Dr Who (classic series) where I have seasons in subdirectories, and stories (2-6 episodes) in directories under that.

No. It just means if you are a SERIES in multiple folders it will not merge them. This is intended for users with limited storage who may spread a series across multiple hard drives. They have Seasons 1 and 2 on hard drive A, Season 3 on hard drive B, Season 4 on hard drive C, etc. This would merge them together into one listing.

For YOU, this has the consequence of merging your dub and sub versions of a series that you have in separate folders.

By disabling this setting it would break a series apart if the top level folder for the series is located in multiple places. You do NOT have to take files out of SEASON folders.
