I'm trying to set up Jellyfin to sync a movie with my wife (Texas), my kids (two different coasts), and myself at home. On the Kodi plugin of Jellyfin I can't seem to find any "join group" button. Is it not implemented yet, or I'm just old and blind?

The good news: you're not blind.
The only clients that currently have sync play working are the web client, jellyfin media player, and possibly mpv shim. The way it's implemented is unfortunately very difficult for client devs to support it, and most of us are still holding out hope that somebody will rework it server side to be a bit nicer. In my attempts I've gotten so far as to select a group, but was never able to get anything to play. |
