I have found that the LG version of the Jellyfin app is automatically logging in the last user. This prevents my household from being able to select their account.

Choosing 'Log out' is not a solution either, because that requires the user to re-type their password each login.

How do I achieve the same result I have on my Android TV, and pretty much the way every other major app is designed? You should be able to see the profiles, and if you had chosen 'remember me', you do not need to type your password.

Having just changed my main TV to LG, this is a horrendous log-on experience.

The WebOS Jellyfin app is a wrapper for jellyfin-web while the Android TV app is native.

Your only alternative is to use quick connect to avoid typing full passwords. Or hook up a bluetooth keyboard to the TV.

A thought occurred. If you only access Jellyfin locally, don't set a password? Uncheck "remember me" when logging in?

Do both of these solutions require you to 'log out' each time, or quit the app?

The Android TV app is designed in such a convenient way. I am really just looking to achieve that same functionality somehow.
I just want to be able to see the user list each time I log on, and choose who is watching.

You could buy an Android TV dongle (I like my CCwGTV 4K). Or some other Android TV dongle/box (I don't recommend Fire Sticks).
