Quick info:
This is a rather old installation, that has moved from a normal, native Linux install through Docker and now onto Podman. I migrated the installation to a new server today and switched to Podman at the same time.
Everything is working fine, except my Libraries now no longer have any images on Home Screen. That is, images for specifically the library. Posters, actors, seasons etc still work fine.
I moved everything except cache from the old server.
Jellyfin has no Write permissions to any of the library paths, but does have full Write to data, config and cache. I was under the impression that the library images were just grabbed among the available images in that specific library, but I'm seeing a lot of permission errors in the logs when doing a library scan.
Now, I do all my scraping in TinyMediaManager. Is there any way I can provide images for the Libraries there? Or just have Jellyfin pick randomly among the already available images, or would that require giving it write access to the media paths?
I'll include a image of what I'm referring to.
- Jellyfin 10.11.0
- Runs in Podman
- Libraries mounted ReadOnly
- Scraping handled externally with TinyMediaManager
