Library setup using NAS shares

I'm confused trying to setup my NAS shares for the library.  My JellyFin server is Windows 10.  I don't want to mount the shares from Windows using drive letters.  I can't figure out how to reference the shares. I am trying \\NASName it does not work and I tried \\IPAddress and that does not work.

99% of people mount their network shares as drive letters. Even for non-Jellyfin related setups.

It is the recommended method because Windows deals with all the intricacies of SMB/NFS/CIFS. Especially if you've got encryption and strict authentication enabled.
