Hi, how are you? I'm stopping by to share something and see if you can help me. I have a Core i3 PC with 8GB RAM and an Nvidia GForce GTX 1650 card. I have Ubuntu Server installed with the latest version of Jeliyfin. On Live TV, I have an m3u playlist with a couple of channels. In Transcoding, I have it enabled with Nvidia NVENC. But when I use the app on Android, the stream slows down and doesn't work as it should. I disable transcoding and it improves a bit. From what I see in nvidia-smi, it's working, but I don't know why it's not optimal. Maybe some transcoding setting is related.

    Code:

Recreate the issue and grab the ffmpeg log that's triggered by the transcoding on your Android phone (?). Post that to privatebin.net.

Are you forcing transcoding for live TV? The original stream shouldn't need to be transcoded or remuxed for nearly all devices.

But that shouldn't matter. What I do see is some sort of corruption in the live TV stream that ffmpeg does not like.

You tell me where you see that...or on what line...so I can look deeper into the source, maybe the problem is there...
