    I have Jellyfin set up on my C:\ drive. I've successfully updated the location of where recordings are stored to an external HDD.

    However when I go 'My Media > Live TV > Recordings' the programs aren't there.
    From the main screen if I click 'Recordings' it's the same issue.

    I clicked on Edit Metadata and can see that the folder points to C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\root\default\Recordings.

    I couldn't find any option in the Dashboard to change this specific path. Would appreciate assistance in how to change the file path to the folder on the external HDD.

    Where in Jellyfin did you set recordings to be stored on your external drive? This worked for me: As admin, go to Dashboard, then under "Live TV" click on "DVR". There you can set the default recording path. Optionally you can set alternate paths for movie and series recordings.

    Saving to a different drive. Yeah I did that under the DVR Settings and the recordings are definitely being stored on the external drive H:\, which is good. But the folder called Recordings in JF Dashboard still points C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\root\default\Recordings

    Ahh fixed it myself. Changed the paths as mentioned but then I had to click on Scan All Libraries from the main Dashboard menu.
