Not quite sure how to troubleshoot this so sorry if I'm not providing sufficient information. I've noticed that live TV (device is HDHomerun) sometimes shows visual artifacts and, occasionally, some rather severe framerate drops. I don't have any issues when using the standard HDHomerun TV app. On the Jellyfin server during TV playback CPU utilization hovers around 20% on all cores so I don't think it's a resource issue. I noticed that FFMpeg is running, which I know means the stream is being transcoded. I noticed in Dashboard the Reason for Transcoding is "There was an error starting direct playback."
I'm running Jellyfin Media Player on Win11. Dashboard shows:
