Hi, I have a very specific question I have not find answer to online.
I have a library of bluray ripped movies on my external storage (M.2-USB). I temporarily use my macbook air m1 for streaming.
The issue is, my collection of movies is organized in a very specific manner - not suitable for direct usage by library for Jellyfin. So, I have to create a secondary library of my movies organized specifically for jellyfin - which is a waste of storage space, since I would store each movie in two copies (one in collection on M2 and one on my macbook for Jellyfin library).
I have tried to create shortcuts of these files (aliases on MacOS) and keep them in Jellyfin library - the server reads them titles corretly, but is unable to playback, forcing me to have a full copy of movie on macbook.
Is there any way I can set Jellyfin to work with the shortcuts (aliases), or is there any other solution to my problem?
Thanks in advance
