I can only access my server from other devices when windows firewall is turned off, even though I added rules for 8096 port
I also tried everything i found online that people said it worked for them but it just doesnt for me

I am using correct ip address
    network is set as private
im connected to the same network and same router
rule was added for port 8096
additional rule was added for jellyfin.exe

message i get when trying to connect is "unable to connect to server"

immediately after posting i solved it there were issues with firewall rules (something was conflicting i guess) so i restored deafoult firewall settings added rule for 8096 and now it works

I've seen Windows update break Windows Firewall. That may have been the cause of the issue.
